This calculator is to be transformed into a widget and submitted to gadget sites, to perform in ad revenue.

Single application sites such as http://www.calculator.com and http://www.online-stopwatch.com/ are very heavy on traffic and revenue. Let’s take a look at their alexa ranking!

There will always be a need for one more calculator. Let’s create our own.

Starting from Scratch on this Flash ActionScript Video Tutorial we create a gradient background with a large rectangle for the display. A master button with mouse over effects is created, for the number buttons, with a separate layer for the number label, that will be changed each time the button is cloned.
