Cost per Lead: An Addional Resource for Online Income

Web Site Revenue Sources. For the sites that have revenue from advertisement, which means most blogs, the type of income breaks down in to 3 categories.

ECPM - Cost per thousand impressions. Advertisers only care how many times their message was seen, and most of the time by whom. As usual they are looking for North American and European viewers.

CPC - Cost per click. The most popular. I kept on trying one by one until I reached the conclusion everyone knows. Google Adsense has the best advertiser portfolio, the most reliable payments, the most sophisticated delivery system. Yet, results are not enough. Darren Rowse reportedly removed Adsense from Problogger. The big advantage of a cost per click is that is easy to enroll, and there is no risk involved.

CPA - Cost per Action. This is my favorite. I got cute $5, $8, and even $90 (ninety dollars) clicks last month. It also involves some brains. The visitor has to not only click, but do some action, like buy a proposed service or product. I gave up on affiliate marketing until watching Lisa Irby and she taught me how. I strongly recommend her You Tube Channel I hope she can do for you what she did for say-web.

Cost per Lead. I was about to close my research, in order to focus on content, and I found a new modality of CPA called CPL – Cost per Lead. Visitors have to visit the site, but they don’t actually need to buy, just fill a form, far more easier than getting payment details. That is how I got into Maxbounty.

Humans. To my surprise MaxBounty has a decent advertiser portfolio and I was able to pick a few to use on Say-Web. A real person reviewed say-web and even called me, here in Jerusalem, from Canada, to tell me the site was approved and she was available as an affiliate representative for any kind of questions that may arise. On the phone we went through a few campaigns that may blend with Say-Web’s content. That is a great start for someone who claims that will be sending you payments for your services. And yes… what you see here is real picture of her.

Bottom Line. It all ends up on how much revenue will they bring. I put some of their advertisers around and I am tracking them just like I track advertisers from any other respectable network. It is a question of matchmaking. At the end of the month we will see who stays and who goes away.

You are welcome to visit max bounty and see if your site is accepted.
