Influential. She is constantly referred as one of the most influential bloggers on lists and for me this is an understatement. I see Lisa Irby like someone at the top of the game looks above and there isn’t anywhere else more to climb, the only thing left to do is to help those below, kind of a Michael Jordan of affiliate marketing. Her YouTube channel gathered over 13000 loyal subscribers in less then 2 years.
What Lisa did for Say Web Tutorials. I tried over 30 different advertisement networks and results were very disappointing. One Saturday night a Lisa video clip came on a YouTube suggestion, and I clicked. For an adult is very clear to see that she is sincere and she is telling the truth, so I decided to keep watching, since she was teaching exactly what say-web needed. Convinced, I reactivated CPA (Cost per Action – commission based, affiliate) advertising on Say-Web using her principles, the results were astounding. Let me get things clear. I only followed her advice alone, nothing else. I believe this is an remarkable result, (say-web got paid, yes) for someone who is teaching for free, online.
She gets her point across. She flashes checks online to make her point (very effective), and she will urge people to pay taxes, use legal software and yes, she buys services she recommends to make sure her audience is not being fooled. She does case studies on successful sites for the audience to learn, and thank g’d she will just not stop.
Say Web is privileged since Lisa gave a few minutes of her intense schedule for a few questions and answers.
Say-Web: 2createawebsite.com Alexa ranks currently at 11,306, remarkable by any standards, and it is no secret (since you flash, on line, checks for the whole planet to see), that you annual income is well into the 6 figures. I imagine that at this point in life the videos you do are not for traffic alone. Can you tell us what are your goals with the videos you do?
Lisa Irby: My main goal with video is to continue to promote my brand and to get people to visit my website. I don’t do a lot of selling in my video’s. I’ve learned that teaching people for free and building credibility is far more important than just creating a video to sell a product or service.
Say-Web: Many times you say online that it “took some time until I quit my job” you also say that you went to college. Can you tell us a little about your education and what kind of professional experience Lisa had before becoming a professional affiliate marketer?
Lisa Irby: I have a degree in business management with a concentration in human resources. I do not have any formal education in regards to web design. I taught myself HTML when I was in college and started creating my own websites. That is what inspired me to create 2createawebsite I’ve learned everything I know about Internet marketing from trial and error with my own websites.
Say-Web: The nature of your activity, blog manager, affiliate marketer and now teaching masses (Lisa currently has more than 13.000 loyal YouTube subscribers) is very far away from the regular learn a profession, get clients recipe. What were the biggest obstacles you had to overcome? How do you cope with the fact you are different from the average?
Lisa Irby: The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was getting noticed. I haven’t always had a lot of traffic to my websites. It has been a long road. When I first launched 2 Create a Website, the site wasn’t very unique from most other tutorial websites. But once I started adding more detailed tutorials and video, that’s when I started to set myself apart from my competitors.
The most important thing you can do if you want to succeed is to learn how to build your own unique brand. I have done it through video and my writing. My goal was to brand myself as a woman who tells it like it is when it comes to making money online. So my approach is very direct, honest and upfront. I believe that is one of the reasons I’ve been able to achieve so much success. Anyone can present information, but you have to develop your own voice.
/// End of Interview.
Lisa deserves a lot of respect and admiration, she is a professional that I am glad to be able to recommend, I just hope she stays the way she is, and does not turn herself into a corporation or some kind of Ophra.

Some interesting and intelligent content you have here on your site. I have several wordpress sites and like your theme. I do notice that you are not monetising your traffic to its maximum which is what I used to do until someone pointed out to me that you can actually earn yourself some decent amounts to help pay your hosting and domain fees etc. Looking at your Alexa rankings I can see you obtain some decent traffic which for very little work could help you out. I use this Wordpress Plugin which effectively turns words and phrases in all (or just some if you like) your content, making contexual links which your visitors will click upon. Take a look at it and see what I mean, I easily clear my hosting and other fees each month using this. Hope that helps you out – we fellow wordpress bloggers have to stick together!
