What I like about the ODesk online certification is that the cost is close to zero, and severely increases credentials. I am not suggesting you should go and compete with the thousands of programmers out there charging $6 an hour. Babysitters and Cleaning staff makes more than that an hour here, but the fact is there is not much to lose.

There are close to 300 tests most for online talents, that is programming, graphic design, accounting, etc…
The tests takes in general 40 minutes and they allow you search the questions online. Don’t worry the questions are composed in a away that you will not find the answer so fast that you could possibly finish all questionnaire searching one by one.
Certification Badges
Once the test is finished the result is immediate. If the applicant fails, he is only allowed to take another test 3 months afterwards. If the applicant is approved he is not only entitled to apply to jobs of that field on ODesk but the result shows on his profile and HTML badges are given to post on websites or social sites.
